I haven't hired from Daly's before, what do I need to do to hire a machine?
For new Customers, the following forms of Identification are required to HIRE equipment:
- Personal ID (An ID with Address is preferable, i.e. Driver’s License)*
- Proof of Address**
Once a Deposit Payment for the Hire Equipment is made, you are ready to go.
*Safe passes, public services cards, and employee ID/ clock cards are not an acceptable form of identification.
**Proof of address is a requirement and the address registered on the account needs to match the bill or ID at all times.
I have a garden project in mind, but it's overgrown with weeds, and I’m not sure what equipment I need. Can you help?
Absolutely. Our team can recommend the right tools and equipment based on the job you need to do. Whether you're clearing weeds, cutting back overgrowth, trimming hedges, or preparing ground for planting, just give us a call, send us a photo, or visit us in-store and we'll point you in the right direction.

Do I need to wear safety equipment?
Yes, Many tools require PPE such as safety boots, gloves, eye protection, or hearing protection.
We'll advise what's needed.
What happens if the equipment breaks down?
Contact us immediately. We'll arrange assistance, repairs, or a replacement where appropriate.
Can I hire equipment for just one day?
Yes. We offer daily, weekend, weekly and longer-term hire periods.
Do I need any experience to hire equipment?
No. We'll explain how to use the equipment safely and provide operating instructions where required.
Can I see the equipment before I hire it?
Yes, you're welcome to visit our hire centre and discuss your requirements with our team.
How do I book equipment?
You can book online, by phone, or by visiting our hire centre.
